Xiaobo Ji is a “Shenghua” Professor at Central South University, China and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry since 2014. His current research is specializing in the research & development of critical materials for energy storage systems including lithium-ion battery and sodium-ion battery. Xiaobo Ji is an Associate Editor for Electrochemistry Communications. He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers, granted with over 70 patents, and is also a co-founder of Shenzhen Jingong New Energy Co.,ltd, which is aming at delevoping cost-effective and efficient electrode materials for large scale energy storage. He has received numerous awards and fellowships, including Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers (2022, 2021), third National Science and Technology Award for outstanding young people in nonferrous metals of China (2018), Young Yangtze scholars, China Ministry of education (2017), National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (2016), New Century Excellent Talents”, China Ministry of education (2011).
