Dr. Gioele Pagot is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry for Technologies at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padova. He earned his Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Science and Engineering of Materials and Nanostructures from the University of Padova. He was also a visiting scientist at Hunter College of the City University of New York.
His research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and lab-scale testing of electrode and electrolyte materials for next-generation lithium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, and aluminum secondary batteries, as well as redox flow batteries. A key aspect of his work is investigating the relationships between composition, structure, thermal properties, and electrochemical performance in advanced battery materials.
Dr. Pagot has co-authored 69 peer-reviewed papers (H-index: 19) and has contributed to over 150 national and international scientific conferences, including 1 keynote lecture, 4 invited oral presentations, and 3 award-winning oral presentations.
