CarolineCloutier is the Director of Research and Development of the National Research Council of Canada’s Energy, Mining and Environment research center’s new Advanced Materials Research located in Mississauga, Ontario. Prior to thisshe worked at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development North America Inc. in high-voltage battery research and development. She was also a Business Process Development and Manufacturing Engineer, as well as an Application Development Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Fuel Cell Division and contributed to bring fuel cell from early–stage research to series production for the GLC FCell.She holds a Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering, both from the University of British-Columbia. She is also six sigma green belt certified, an ISO 9001:2015 and IATF16949 lead auditor, an international keynote speaker, and a Daimler AG Inventor Trophy recipient.
