Xueliang (Andy) Sun

Dr. Xueliang Sun is a Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a former Distinguished University Professor at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, a former Senior Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) for the development of advanced materials for clean energy, the founding Editor-in-Chief of “Electrochemical Energy Reviews” (IF=32) under Spring-Nature, and a Vice Chairman of the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science (IAOEES).

Dr. Xueliang Sun is currently a Chair Professor at Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo. His research interest includes all-solid-state batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and fuel cells. Dr. Xueliang Sun is an author of over 630 refereed journals (e.g. Nature Energy, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Energy & Environmental Science) with citations of over 60,000 times and H-index of 128. Dr. Sun received various awards such as the Award for Research Excellence in Materials Chemistry Winner from the Canada Chemistry Society and the IBA Battery Technology Award.  He has been selected as a “Global Highly Cited Scientist” and “World Top 2% Top Scientists” by Clarivate Analytics since 2018.
