Changho Jung

Dr. Changho Jung is currently the Head of the Battery Performance Development Unit in Hyundai Motor Group R&D, where he is leading the development of BMS for all Hyundai-Kia-Genesis EVs and xEVs as well as battery system development verification. Prior to his current role, he pursued a career in multiscale simulations for batteries and catalytic materials. And his current areas of expertise include battery abnormalities and health status diagnosis by BMS, charging control by BMS, battery system modeling, and machine learning-based BMS control. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan in 2006.
