Dr. Xia Li is an Assistant Professor of Chemical and Materials Engineering at Concordia University, Concordia University Research Chair (New Scholar) in high-energy rechargeable batteries, and Associate Director of the Concordia Collaborative Centers on Energy and its Transition (C2ET). Her research focuses on the development of advanced materials and technologies for energy storage devices, such as lithium/sodium-based batteries and solid-state batteries, with the goal of understanding the synthesis-structure-performance relationship. She has published over 60 papers in high-impact journals, including Nature Communications, Materials Today, CHEM, Advanced Materials. Her work has been cited over 6000 times with an H-index of 45. Dr. Li serves as the (co-)chair for many international/domestic conference symposiums, such as CSC2024, CSChE2023, IGEC2022, CSChE2021. Dr. Li serves as an Associate Editor in Frontiers in Energy Research. Dr. Li was awarded the Gina Cody Research Accelerator Award in 2021 and is the recipient of the Early Career Award for Multiscale Functional Materials from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2023).
