Mohamed Chakir

Dr. Chakir is J. Expert on all solid-state batteries in Renault, France. He received his MSc and PhD degrees from Hassan II University of Casablanca on Materials Science and Solid-State Chemistry (1997-2003), followed by Postdoctoral experiences in ICMCB-Bordeaux and CIRIMAT-Toulouse laboratories (2004-2008).

Dr Chakir was a Materials Scientist and Battery Engineer at ENERDEL, USA, (2008-2011), after this period, he joined Renault sas as Innovation Pilot on Li-ion batteries (2011-2014) and on all solid-state batteries (2014-2019). From 2020, his main activities were focused on all Solid-state batteries (polymer and inorganic Solid Electrolytes).

Dr. Chakir has >20 years’ experience in inorganic chemistry, supercapacitors, and Li-ion batteries. During these years, he had different experiences with multiple partners; Laboratories, startups and industries on materials, electrochemistry and energy storage activities.
